Herbert Moore Herbert B. Moore, 89, of Cordova, Tenn., died Friday, Nov. 11, at the VA Medical Center in Memphis. He was born in Clifton, the son of the late Kenny and Annie Simms Moore. He was united in marriage to Cynthia Inez McClain, who preceded him in death. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Graham Cemetery in Hardin County with Ben Henson officiating. Mr. Moore was a service station manager for John Pearson Amoco. He was a United States Army and National Guard Veteran. He was a former member of the VFW. He is survived by two sons, Alan of Memphis and Greg Moore of Cordova, Tenn.; one daughter, Patricia Moore of Memphis; five grandchildren, three great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one brother, W.S. Moore; and two sisters, Hazel Lynch and Nancy Bleu.
