Jacob Tears

Jacob Michael Tears was born Sept. 1, 2011 in Selmer, the son of Dirk Baxter and Emily Marie Driver Tears.

Jacob departed this life on Thursday, May 9, in Memphis, at the age of 1 year, 8 months, 8 days.

He is survived by his parents, Dirk and Emily Tears of Adamsville; two sisters, Katie Lynn Tears and Sarah Isabelle Tears; paternal grandparents, Donnie and Rhonda Tears of Adamsville; paternal great-grandmother, Barbara "Nana" Baxter of Adamsville; maternal grandmother, Debbie Driver of Madison, Tenn.; maternal great-grandmothers, Pauline Armour of Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., and Emma Dean Driver of Lafayette, Tenn.; aunts, Rhonda Anglin and husband Alan of Adamsville, and Joyce Knott and husband Tim of Seminole, Fla.; uncles, Daniel Driver and wife Brandi of Lafayette, Tenn., and Jason Carter and wife Amanda of Manchester, Tenn.; great aunts, Lorrie Wright of Lafayette, Tenn., and Nancy Baxter of Adamsville; great uncle Tony Driver of Lafayette, Tenn.; and great great aunt, Betty Huffines of Nashville.

He is preceded in death by grandfather Tommy Driver and a great-grandfather J.R. Driver.

Services were held on Monday, May 13, at 4 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Jimmy Kelley officiating. Burial followed in the Adamsville Cemetery at Adamsville, Tenn.
