James Crawford (7-21-18) service 7-28-18

James Crawford, 73, of Iuka, Mississippi, formerly of Savannah, died on Saturday, July 21.

He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, the son of the late Byrd and Adra Crawford. He was united in marriage to Wanda Terry, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Crawford had worked on the boat, been a truck driver, and was the owner and operator of WJ Escort Service.

He is survived by his children, Michael Shannon Crawford of Iuka, Mississippi, Kimberly Kristine Lewis of Savannah, Adra McFerson of Adamsville and Chris Brandon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son; and 17 brothers and sisters.

Services were held on Saturday, July 28, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Danny Hicks and Grant Horn officiating. Burial followed in Stantonville Cemetery at Stantonville, Tennessee.
