James Ricky Franks, 62, of Savannah, died on Friday, Jan. 18.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of Nellie Mae Riley Franks and the late Joe Cecil Franks.
Mr. Franks was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had worked for Wolfe Sales.
He is survived by his mother, Nellie Franks; sisters, Pattie Kiddy and Claudia Holland; stepsons, Richie Moore and Jeffrey Moore; stepdaughter, Heather McClain, all of Savannah; and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Franks; and his sister, Karen Joy Pevahouse.
Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 1, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Love and Truth Church in Savannah.
