James Hurst (4-6-10) services 4-10-10

James A. "Tony" Hurst, 68, a native ofWaynesboro, passed away Tuesday, April 6, at Wayne Medical Center. He was born in Wayne County and resided in Har din County most of his life, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

The funeral service was held Saturday, April 10, at 1 p.m., in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Greg Eaton officiating. Burial was in Greenview Memorial Park with military funeral honors accorded at graveside.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, James E. Hurst; mother, Mary Elizabeth Mitchell Hurst; and a brother Kenneth Hurst.

He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Anne Holcombe and husband Ronnie of Waterloo, Torri Rene Pickens and husband Tony ofAdamsville; brothers, Ray Hurst of Nashville, Jeffrey Hurst of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Eric Holcombe, Stephanie Holcombe, Tristan Pickens, Taylor Pickens; great grandchildren, McKenna and Draven Holcombe, Raeonna Rhodes, Tyler Mckenzie, and Lexie Forsythe.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Holcombe, Tony Pickens, Eric Holcombe and Tristan Pickens.
