James Robinson (6-7-10) services 6-12-10

James Corbin Robinson, 76, of Counce, died Monday, June 7.

He was the son of the late James M. (Hob) and Irene McKinney Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was a river boat pilot for Marine Transport for more than 40 years . He was a member of the New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Counce.

Services were held on Saturday, June 12, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville in Adamsville with Rev. George Kyle officiating.

He is survived by three daughters, Tammy Tinney of Houston, Texas, Pamela Morris of Iuka, Miss., Leigh Ann Knight of Iuka, Miss.; three sons, Mike Robinson of Iuka, Miss., Shane Robinson of Russelville, Ala., Heath Robinson of Bolivar, Tenn.; two sisters, Fay Vickery of McEwen, Tenn., Lou Ella Greene of Corinth, Miss.; and a brother, Jerry Robinson of Adamsville.

He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Robinson; two sisters, Louise Blakney and Betty Williams; seven brothers, Buster, Johnny, Garland, Tommy, Clyde, Kenneth and Ronald Robinson.
