James Sabourin

James R. (Jim) Sabourin, 66, of Duluth, Ga., died Feb. 25.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Feb. 27, at Chestnut Drive Church of Christ in Doraville. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. (CST) Sunday, Feb. 28, at Neill Cemetery in Savannah.

Mr. Sabourin attended Northwestern University in Chicago, Ill. and was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Air Reserve. He was president of Automatic Packaging Machinery, Inc, in Norcross, Ga., for 40 years and a member of Chestnut Drive Church of Christ in Doraville. He was also a member of PMA, PMMI, and United Fresh.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Suzanne Sabourin Lecave, he is survived by his wife, Sandra D. Sabourin of Duluth; daughters, Michelle Sabourin Cheshier of Duluth, Ga., Emilie S. Ogren of Senoia, Ga., and Jamie R. Sabourin of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Nancy S. Soderman of Gladstone, Mich. and Mary Sue Elegreet of Rapid River, Mich.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
