Janie Wright (7-23-11) services 7-26-11

Janie Young Wright, 54, of Savannah, died Saturday, July 23, in Savannah.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Curtis and Betty Wilkerson. She was united in marriage to Wilford M. Wright, who survives.

Mrs. Wright worked in the wood yard for PCA where she was employed for 25 years.

Services were held on Tuesday, July 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. Burial followed in the Wilkerson Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to her husband, Wilford M. Wright of New Site, Miss.; she is survived by two daughters, Amanda Stout of Jackson, Tenn., Samantha Young of Savannah; a stepdaughter, Ashley Wellington of Iuka, Miss.; a stepson, Josh Wright of New Site, Miss.; three sisters, Betty Calderon of Savannah, Sarah Benson of Savannah, Bonnie Murphy of Savannah; three brothers, Billy Wilkerson of Savannah, Larry Wilkerson of Savannah, Curtis Wilkerson Jr. of Savannah; and two step-grandchildren, Wyatt Wellington, Benjamin Lexton Wright.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lacey Jane Young.
