Jerry Anderson Jerry Ray Anderson, 68, of Saltillo, died Tuesday, July 17, in Jackson, Tenn. He was born in Big Sandy, Tenn., the son of the late James Harvey and Ollie Mae Landreth Anderson. He was united in marriage to Sandra Kay Sparks, who survives. Jerry retired from Magnetek in Lexington, Tenn., where he was the materials manager. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. He was a member of Saltillo Baptist Church. Services were held on Friday, July 20, at Saltillo First Baptist Church in Saltillo with Carl McNeil, Mark Burton officiating. Burial followed in the Shady Grove Cemetery at Saltillo. In addition to his wife, Kay of Saltillo, Jerry is survived by one son, Quinn Anderson of Lexington, Tenn.; two grandchildren; one brother, Gene Anderson of Scotts Hill, Tenn.; and one sister, Janice Alexander of Saltillo. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Neal Anderson.
