Jimmy Layton (6-20-15) service 6-23-15

Jimmy Taylor Layton, 77, of Adamsville, died on Saturday, June 20, in Jackson, Tennessee
He was born in Corinth, Mississippi, the son of the late Mary Alice Layton Meek.
Mr. Layton was a janitor and had worked for Hardin County Hospital in Savannah, and Aqua Glass in Adamsville. He was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ.
He is survived by a sister, Diane Sowell of Shiloh; two brothers, Kenneth Meek of Adamsville, James Travis Meek of Savannah; three nieces and two nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ross Layton and Eula May Hall Layton; and a niece.
Services were held on Tuesday,  June 23, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Adamsville with Van Vansandt officiating. Burial followed in Mars Hill Cemetery at Adamsville.
