Jo Ann Williams Pickens, 60, of Adamsville, died Friday, July 9, in Adamsville.

She was born in McNairy County, the daughter of the late Loyd and Annie Maybelle Hastings Williams. She was united in marriage to Larry Pickens, who survives.

Mrs. Pickens was a seamstress for Garan Manufacturing for 20 years. She was a member of Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church.

Services were held on Wednesday, July 14, at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville with Billy White officiating. Burial was in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery at Shiloh.

In addition to her husband Larry of Savannah, she is survived by two step-daughters, Vicki Hunt of Savannah and Pamela Carroll of Selmer; and one step-son, Larry "Troy" Pickens of Michie; four sisters, Sara Nunn of Guys, Tenn., Betty Hunt of Savannah, Brenda Crumby of Adamsville and Sandra McLin of Crump; three brothers, Loyd and Bill Williams, both of Savannah, Harold Williams of Stantonville.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Anthony Wayne Williams; and four brothers, Bobby Clifford, James Larry, Carly Gene and Roy Dell Williams.
