Jo Bain (6-22-18) services 6-24-18

Jo Nell Davis Bain, 87, of Savannah, died on Friday, June 22, in Savannah.

She was born in Morris Chapel, the daughter of the late Laden A. and Edna Lea Reed Davis. She was united in marriage to Delbert K. Bain, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bain was a homemaker.  She also had worked for Brown Shoe Company and been a sales clerk.  Mrs. Bain was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Caroline Stricklin of Waynesboro.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Teresa Bain and Debbie Bain Rice; and one brother, Kenneth Davis.

Services were held on Sunday, June 24, at 1:30 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
