Joan Boatright (3-15-10) services 3-18-10

Joan Marie Fox Boatright, 54, of Waterloo, Ala., died Monday, March 15.

She was born in Savannah, daughter of the late Cecil Alexander and Lou Jean Fox. She was united in marriage to Steve Boatright, who survives.

Services were held Thursday, March 18, at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel, Central Heights, Ala., with Wayne Wood and David Rushlow officiating. Burial was at Richardson Cemetery.

In addition to her husband, Steve, she is survived by sons, Stephen and Jonathan Boatright, both of Waterloo, Ala.,; brothers, Rayburn Fox of Adamsville, and Jimmy, Joey and Ricky Fox, all of Savannah; sisters, Joyce Scott of Savannah, Judy Balentine of Cypress Inn, Tenn., Jane Jones of Savannah, and Jackie Davidson of Savannah; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Hassel Fox.
