Joe Blackstock

Joe Blackstock, 73, died on Friday, May 17.

He was born in Chester County, Tenn., the son of the late William Albert and Clara Harwell Blackstock. He was united in marriage to Jean White-Hanna, who survives.

Joe was an engineer for Ingram Barge Company, Phillips 66, BCW Builders, and farmed before retiring.

Services were held on Sunday, May 19, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Jim Chamblee, Leah Wilkerson officiating. Burial followed in the Milledgeville Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Blackstock of Enville; brother, Fred Blackstock of Pensacola, Fla.; sisters, Carolyn Garrard of Parsons, Tenn., and Metha Bingham of Henderson, Tenn.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Scotty Joe Blackstock.
