John Mitchell
John H. Mitchell, 77, of Hardin County, died Sunday, May 19, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn.
He was born in Hardin County, son of the late Dan and Bernice Banks Mitchell.
Mr. Mitchell retired from the Strike King Lure Company in Collierville, Tenn., where he worked in lure assembly.
Services were held on Wednesday, May 22, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. Burial followed in the Lebanon Cemetery at Saltillo.
He is survived by three sisters, Shirley Murphy and Bobbie Jo Love of Savannah, and Judy Paige of Memphis; and three brothers, Lonnie Mitchell of Saltillo, Donnie Mitchell of Decaturville, Tenn., and James Earl Mitchell of Lexington, Tenn.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, O.T. and Tommy Willard Mitchell.
