Johnie Ruth Franks Johnie Ruth Franks, 80, of Savannah, died Friday, Nov. 5. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late William McKinley and Ella Elizabeth Davis Oakley. She was united in marriage to Wallace Franks, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Franks was a bookkeeper for TVEC for 40 years. Services were held on Monday, Nov. 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Tony Polk officiating. Burial was in the Shady Hill Cemetery at Hardin County. She is survived by a sister, Mary Davison of Savannah and one nephew.
