Juanita Kreiser

Juanita Kreiser departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 3, at the age of 61 years, 2 months, 12 days.

She was born in Meridian, Miss., on Oct. 22, 1951, the daughter of the late Carles Herbert Lepard and Elnora Nash McNeil.

On Jan. 25, 1985, she was united in marriage to Michael David Kreiser, who preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2007.

Juanita loved music, mostly gospel and bluegrass, her grandchildren and her Lord Jesus Christ. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and had served her country honorably in the U.S. Army.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanye Troutt and her husband Don of Savannah; grandchildren, Johnathan Redfearn, Rachel Lambert and Kimberly Troutt; great-grandchild, Denielynn Marie Lambert; sisters, Edna Fields of Memphis, Barbara Lepard of Arlington, Tenn., and Clara Cornelius of Oakland, Tenn.; brothers, Issac Lepard of Memphis, Kenneth Lepard of Arlington, Tenn., Ernest Lepard, Richard Lepard, both of Oakland, Tenn., and Gary Lepard of Helena, Mont.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, Jan. 13, at 2 p.m., at Bethel Church in Savannah with Jerry Milliken officiating. Burial followed in the Bethel Cemetery at Savannah.
