Katherine Lowe (11-1-10) services 11-5-10

Katherine Lowe, 80, of Olive Hill, died Monday, Nov. 1, at the Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Savannah.

She was born in Olive Hill, the daughter of the late Russell and Lennie Mae Wade Franks. She was united in marriage to Ulys Lowe, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker. She was a member of Olive Hill Baptist Church.

Services will be held on Friday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Kyle Wishhurt officiating. Burial will follow in the Olive Hill Cemetery at Olive Hill, Tenn.

She is survived by two daughters, Helen May of San Marcos, Texas and Jane McLin of Olive Hill, Tenn.; and two sons, Tim and Darrell Lowe, both of Olive Hill, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; six brothers, Odell, Bennie, Joe and Walton Franks, all of Savannah, Archie Franks of Lawrenceburg, Tenn. and Jamie Franks of Bristow, Va.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Paul Lowe; one sister, Betty Pickens; and one brother, Larry Franks.
