Kenneth Eugene Deshazier, 71, of Savannah, died on Friday, Sept. 8. 
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Willie and Betty Kelley Deshazier.  He was united in marriage to Hazel Benson, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Deshazier worked in the logging industry as a timber cutter. He was a member of Clifton Revival Center.
He is survived by his children, Richie Stricklin of Savannah, Janie Lineberry of Clifton, Sue Reece of Michie, Betty Jerrolds of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, and Barbara Milford of Shiloh; eight grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Deshazier, Marge Deshazier, Irene Simmons and Janie Hopper, all of Savannah; and brothers, Mick Deshazier, Jack Deshazier and Alfred Deshazier, all of Savannah.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Maxine Stricklin; a sister, Linda Clay; and a brother, Hubert Deshazier.
Services were held on Monday, Sept. 11, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah with Shayne Riley and Roger Reece officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
