L.C. Crotts

L.C. Crotts, 85, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Jan. 5.

He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Leonard Carl and Mamie Welch Crotts. He was united in marriage to Martha Austin, who survives.

Mr. Crotts worked for Alexander Builders Construction and for Hassell Lumber Company. He was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.

Services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Artie Rivers officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Hermon Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to his wife, Martha of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Linda Crotts Rainwater of Savannah and Donnie W. Crotts of Huntsville, Ala.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Baskin and Juanita Young, both of Savannah.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Warren G. and Bill Crotts.
