Lester Frazier

Lester Dee Frazier, 74, of Savannah, died Sunday, June 12, in Savannah.

He was born in Wayne County, the son of the late Jay Vester and Sally Edna Perry Frazier.

Mr. Frazier was a farmer and also did construction work. He was a member of World Wide Church of God and he was also a member of the National Guard.

Services were held on Wednesday, June 15, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Danny Frazier officiating. Burial followed in the Lutts Cemetery.

Mr. Frazier is survived by two daughters, Cynthia White and Virginia Smith, both of Lexington, Tenn.; and one son, Stanley Frazier of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Evon Hanson of Savannah, Essie Belcher of South Bend, Ind. and Barbara Futrell of Granger, Ind.; five brothers, J.W. Frazier of Shelbyville, Tenn., Ralph, Vernon, Jerry Lewis and Donnie Frazier, all of Savannah.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, James "Curly" Frazier; and two sisters, Beatrice Nix and Emma Lou Myrkle.
