Lillian Franks (3-21-17) service 3-24-17

Lillian Franks, 75, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, March 21.
She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Zada Bell Murphy Cummings. She married Arthur McKinley Franks, who preceded her in death.
Before retiring from Brown Shoe, Mrs. Franks worked at Angelica and then Kay Windsor. She  was a member of the Moose Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Lynn Franks; son, Timmie Lane Franks; sister, Charlene Franks; brother, John Thomas Cummings; and four grandchildren.
Along with her parents and her husband, Lillian was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Kathleen Burlerson; brothers, Silas “Bo” Cummings and J.C. Cummings; and a grandchild.
Services were held on Friday, March 24, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah with Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed in Germany Branch Cemetery at Hardin County.
