Linda Cook

Linda Lou Stanfill Cook, 65, of Savannah, died Sunday, March 7.

She was born in Morris Chapel, the daughter of Martha Edna Smith Stanfill and the late Earl Bynum Stanfill.

Ms. Cook was owner of Linda Cook Bail Bonding. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Services were held on Wednesday, March 10, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Kermit Travis officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.

In addition to her mother, Martha Stanfill, she is survived by three daughters, Gayle Davis of Savannah, Patty Warden of Shelbyville, Tenn. and Becky Bullock of Savannah; one son, Anthony L. Cook of Houstonville, Ky. She was a special mother to Tabitha Lusk.

She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, five sisters, Elizabeth Taylor of Jackson, Tenn., Janet Robertson of Adamsville and Barbara Taylor, Velma Garrard and Edna Browder, all of Savannah; and one brother, Larry Stanfill of Savannah.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Oleta McLemore Polk and Freda Joy Stanfill; and two brothers, Earl and Tommy Joe Stanfill.
