Lloyd Linam (8-17-11) services 8-19-11

Loyd Linam was born in Hardin County, on Jan. 31, 1930, the son of the late Cecil Hardin and Roxie Miller Linam.

On April 26, 1952, he was united in marriage to Mackie Nell Willoughby, who preceded him in death on June 8, 2009.

Mr. Linam was a farmer and a member of Barnhill United Methodist Church.

He departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the age of 81 years, 6 months, 17 days.

Mr. Linam is survived by a daughter, Kathy Crow and husband Steve of Jackson, Tenn.; a son, Mike Linam and wife Vanessa of Savannah; a grandson, Jonathan Linam; a sister, Nancy White of Adamsville; a brother, Jack Linam of Florence, Ala.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, JoAnn Johnson.

Services were held on Friday, Aug. 19, at 3 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Becky Wilkes officiating. Burial followed in the Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
