Lynn Thomas

Lynn (Tootie Newell) Thomas, 48, of Counce, died on Thursday, May 30.

She was born in Savannah, the daughter of Ann Webb Newell and the late Sonny Newell. She was united in marriage to Joe Thomas, who survives.

She attended Pisgah Methodist Church.

Services were held on Sunday, June 2, at Pisgah United Methodist Church in Shiloh with Pat Terry, Paul Childers officiating. Burial followed in the Pisgah Cemetery at Shiloh.

In addition to her husband, Joe Thomas of Counce and her mother, Ann Newell of Counce, she is survived by a daughter, Callie Jo Thomas of Counce; stepdaughter, Jessica Nicole Thomas of West Palm Beach, Fla.; stepson, Joseph Scott Thomas of West Palm Beach, Fla.; sisters, Janese Edwards of Counce, Donna Baker of Mobile, Ala., Lisa Gray of Ramer, Tenn.
