Mabel Kiihnl, 85, of Savannah, died Wednesday, June 13.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Albert Sidney Nix and Jennie Thacker Nix. She was united in marriage to Paul Raymond Kiihnl, who survives.

Mrs. Kiihnl was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ. She was a member of Chamber of Commerce in Bryant, Ark. She was a member of the Ladies Garden Club and the Ceramic Pottery Club in Waynesboro. She worked as a buyer for International Shoe Company and Brown Shoe Company. She was a business manager and secretary for K&H fire protection.

Services were held on Saturday, June 16, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Dustin Perkins, Howard Rogers, Jim Chamblee, Westley Hazel officiating. Burial followed in the Morris Chapel Cemetery at Morris Chapel.

Mrs. Kiihnl is survived by her husband, Paul Raymond Kiihnl of Savannah.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Minnie Montgomery, Nettie Thomas, Josey Nixion and Edith Wilson; one brother, Richard Nix.
