Mack Elease Murphy Brown, 87, of Savannah, died on Sunday, Oct. 21.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. L.V. Brown; her parents, Henry and Mary Murphy; brother, Morris “Boss” Murphy; sister, Barbara Murphy Connaway; baby son, Rayburn Dean; and a grandson.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Poole; sons, Delbert, Tommy, Joel, L.V. Brown Jr.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Beckham.
Services were held on Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Marvin Marrow officiating. Burial followed in Greenview Cemetery at Florence, Alabama.
