Mae Frances Blount Mae Frances Blount, 64, of Savannah, died Friday, Sept. 16, in Memphis. She was the daughter of the late Harold Francis and Gladys Ward Blount. Miss Blount was a guidance counselor for the Hardin County Board of Education. She also taught kindergarten at West Hardin and Pickwick Southside. Miss Blount was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tennessee Education Association and Hardin County Education Association. Services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Dr. Ron Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by several cousins.
