Marguerite Phillips Marguerite Franks Phillips, 82, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Jan. 25. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Riley and Jessie Dobbins Franks. She was united in marriage to Lowell Phillips, who survives. Mrs. Phillips retired from 1st National Bank as a bank teller and was a member of the Savannah Church of Christ. Services were held on Jan. 27, at Savannah Church of Christ with David Baker officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah. She is survived by her husband, Lowell Phillips of Savannah; son, Tommy Phillips of Savannah; daughter, Janie Phillips Shutt of Savannah; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Claudine Script of Memphis. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Ralph Franks.
