Marilyn Blurton Marilyn Johnson Blurton, 88, of Lexington, Tenn., formerly of Savannah, died Sunday, Dec. 19, in Lexington. She was the daughter of the late Wheeler and Vianna Cherry Johnson. She was united in marriage to Ernest Neil Blurton, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Blurton was a retired secretary at Walnut Grove Elementary School and a member of Hollands Creek United Methodist Church where she served as secretary. Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah, with burial in Johnson Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Jane Roberts of Lexington; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Jo Howell of Nashville, Emma Jack Parker of Savannah. She was also preceded in death by children, Judy Lynn Blurton and Tommy Neil Blurton; and a brother, Ray Johnson.
