Marilyn Cardin, 77, died on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

She was born in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of the late Walter "Bud" and Alice Timmerman.

Mrs. Cardin had lived in many places including Moravia, N.Y.; Sealy, Texas; Springfield, Neb.; and most recently Savannah.

Private services were held.

Mrs. Cardin is survived by a daughter, Lavina Kilmer of Morris Chapel; sons, Jim and Randy Vinson, both of Cypress, Texas, and Billy Cardin of Elkhorn, Neb.; sister, Jan Dobbs of Springfield, Neb.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd R. Cardin; a son, Lloyd A. Cardin; and a sister, Delores Mortenson.
