Martha Smith

Martha Sue Smith, 89, of Savannah, passed away on Tuesday, May 28, at AHC Nursing Facility in Savannah, the daughter of the late Earnest K. and Claire Youngblood Stricklin.
She was united in marriage to Archie Lee (Ted) Smith, who preceded her death.
She worked in a nursery for more than 30 years and she was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Smith Brown Wright, Eddie Smith, Steve Smith, and Jimmy Smith; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren ; two great-great grandchildren; sister, Linda Malone; and brother, Ancil Stricklin.
She is preceded by a sister, Lucille Downing; and brothers, David Stricklin and Ernest Strickli Jr.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 30, at Hopewell Baptist Church. Interment followed at Graham Methodist Church Cemetery in Savannah.
