Mary Corine “Mae” Dillihunt Porter, 87, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Oct. 24. She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Andrew and Ada Goodlow Dillihunt. She was united in marriage to Thomas Jefferson Porter, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Porter was self employed as a housekeeper.

She is survived by her children, Jerry E. Porter, Mary Lee Holt, and Chearlyn Ann Yarbro all of Savannah; 13 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and sister, Rosie Neal of Lawton, Okla.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Albert Tucker; grandson, Michael Dexter  Dillihunt; sisters, Connie Dillihunt and Pearline Higgins and brothers, Grady Ross, Raymond Dillihunt, Henry Dillihunt, Ernest Mike Ross, William Ross, and Frank Dillihunt.

Services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Frederick Perry and Cleophas Cherry officiating. Burial followed at Memory Gardens in Savannah.
