Mary Norton (2-23-19) service 2-25-19

Mary Thelda Baugus Norton, 85, of Middleton, Tennessee, died on Saturday, Feb. 23, at her home.

A native of Hardin County, she was daughter of the late Laudis and Amy Franks Baugus. She married George Norton, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Norton worked as a school bus driver with the Hardeman County School System since 1973. She was a member of Middleton First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Anthony Norton; stepson, Jimmy Norton; a brother, Leon Baugus; 12 grandchildren and 10 great -grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Marcell and Mervin Baugus.

Services were held on Monday, Feb. 25, at Middleton First Baptist Church. Burial was in Old Enon Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.
