Mary Sue Parson, 81, of Antioch, Tenn., formerly of Counce, died Tuesday, Feb. 22.

She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Willie Green and Maggie Fowler Coffman. She was united in marriage to W.H. "Hoss" Parson, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Parson was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Fairview Cemetery in Tishomingo County, Miss., with Paul Briley officiating.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Gray of Counce; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Dorothy Kiddy of Corinth, Miss., Joann Brooks, Virginia Coffman, Carolyn McMeans, all of Counce, and Beauton Young of Washington, Ill.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Thornhill; and two sisters, Mildred Meeks and June Thompson.
