Mary D. Welch, 96, of Adamsville, died on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah. She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late James Will and Cessel Alexander Wolfe.She was united in marriage to Roy D. Welch who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Welch was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church and she was a homemaker.

 Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 11 a.m. at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Savannah with Mike Moore and Glen Scott, officiating. Burial will follow at the Crump Cemetery.

She is survived by three children, Patty Wicker, Donnie Welch, James R. (George) Welch, all of Adamsville; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Roy D. Welch and her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Dustin Ray; four sisters, Jo Kate Barick, Louise Hosea, Faye Willoughby and Marie Shelby, three brothers, Cecil Wolfe, Dee Wolfe and James Wolfe.
