Michael Howell Michael Willis Howell, 69, of Parsons, Tenn., formerly of Savannah, died Thursday, Oct. 20, at Decatur County Hospital. He was born in Henderson County, Tenn., the son of the late Benjamin Elijah and Bertha Mae Willis Howell. Mr. Howell was a computer programer. He was a United States Navy Veteran stationed in Japan from 1960 to 1962. A graveside service was held on Friday, Oct. 21, at the Sardis Cemetery in Sardis, Tenn., with Jimmy Smith officiating. He is survived by one son, Michael Brandon Howell of Savannah; one daughter, Lori Howell White of New Hope, Ala.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Gass of Parsons, Tenn. and Sally Smith of Saltillo; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Don Gilbert Howell.
