Mitsy Kelley, 47, of Savannah, died Thursday, Dec. 27, in Savannah.

She was born in Savannah, the daughter of Charlie Jr. Wilkerson and Betty Sue Stricklin Shelby. She was united in marriage to Robert "Bobby" Dean Kelley, who survives.

Mrs. Kelley was a homemaker and also had worked at Mitsy’s Discount Clothing. She was a member of New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Mitsy loved to sing gospel music and she was on Channel 18 for several years with the "Sweet Peace" group.

Services were held on Sunday, Dec. 30, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Paul Childers officiating. Burial followed in the White’s Creek Cemetery at Hardin County.

In addition to her husband, Robert of Savannah, she is survived by two sons, Christopher Allen Kelley and Jimmy Dwayne Wilkerson, both of Savannah, and one stepson, Derrick Everett Arcond of Savannah; two grandchildren; her mother, Betty Sue Shelby of Savannah and her father, Junior Wilkerson of Savannah; two sisters, Susie Barrier of Savannah and Sherry Copeland of Lutts; two brothers, Steve and David Wilkerson, both of Savannah; one stepbrother, Jamie Shelby.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Tommy Shelby; and three brothers, Donnie Lee, Timmy Ferrell and Tracy Allen Wilkerson.
