Mitzi Williams Mitzi Lynn Williams, 28, of Ripley, Miss., formerly of Adamsville, died on Thursday, Aug. 23. She was born in Selmer, the daughter of Dennis Wayne Williams and Pamela Jean Douglas Davis. After graduation from Adamsville High School, she moved to Martin, Tenn. for a short period of time where she had worked at EW James. She had also worked for Wal-Mart in Savannah and the Dodge Store in Ripley, Miss. Services were held on Sunday, Aug. 26, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah, with Casey Burks officiating. Burial followed in the Milledgeville Cemetery. She is survived by her father, Dennis Williams of Morris Chapel; mother, Pamela Davis of Selmer; sisters, Casey Williams Jerrolds of Stantonville, Kandi Williams of Morris Chapel, Amanda Ward of Savannah, and Tonya Burks of Morris Chapel; nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, June Nell and Sanders Williams, Dorthy Morgan Douglas Davis and Archie Douglas.
