Nellie Elizabeth (Tune) Lyon, 88, of Holly Springs, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 11, the daughter of the late Johnny and Irla Tune.

Mrs. Lyon was homemaker. She was a member of Wyatte Baptist Church in Wyatte, Mississippi.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Lyon; sons, Mark Lyon, Larry Abrams and James Bryan Lyon; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Nadine Hinton, Cora Hosea and Betty Wilson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Abrams; two grandchildren; sisters, Louise, Mervee, Olean and Girtie; and brothers, John Dee and Willard Tune.

Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah, with Scott Rogers officiating. Burial followed at Bumpus Creek Cemetery in Waterloo, Alabama.
