Nettie Marie Bryant

Nettie Marie Bryant was born in Hardin County on Nov. 9, 1919 the daughter of the late Ira and Alma White.

On Dec. 9, 1936, she was united in marriage to Grady Bryant, who preceded her in death July 14, 2002.

Mrs. Bryant was a supervisor at Dillon Manufacturing and was quality control at Clifton Manufacturing. She was a member of Holland’s Creek Methodist Church.

Mrs. Bryant departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 20, at the age of 91 years, 2 months, 11 days.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by a son, Gene Bryant and wife Betty of Savannah; a daughter, Gayle Kilzer of Savannah; three sisters, Jean Taylor of Birmingham, Ala., Robbie Knuppe and Iris Prince, both of Savannah; three grandchildren, Kelly Foster, Todd Bryant and Mark Hughes; eight great-grandchildren, Kara Bryant, Kasi Bryant, Krissie Bryant, Jessy Foster, Amanda Williams, Zack Webb, Haley Hughes and Hannah Hughes; a great-great-grandchild, Savannah Williams.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Thompson; two brothers, Wilson White and Monte White; a granddaughter, Stacey Webb.

Services were held on Saturday, Jan. 22, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Don Harold Lawrence officiating. Burial was in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
