Norma Jean Wood, 85, of Adamsville, died on Friday, Aug. 4, in Adamsville.
She was born in Lexington, Tennessee, the daughter of the late WW Robinson and Bernice Blankenship. She was united in marriage to James E. Wood, who survives.
Mrs. Wood was a member of Adamsville Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school for many years.
She is survived by her husband James E. Wood of Adamsville; three sons, Steven M. Wood of Saltillo, James Randall Wood of Pendleton, Indiana, Terry L. Wood of Adamsville; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Morgan of Lexington, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ella Gammon; and a brother, Robert McPeake.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Aug. 6, at Adamsville Church of Christ in Adamsville with Van Vansandt and Tim Carothers officiating. Burial  followed in Oak Grove Cemetery near Lexington with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer in charge.
