Oneada Faye Stricklin, 64, of Savannah, died Thursday, July 21, in Jackson, Tennessee.
She was born in Mulinsburg, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George Washington and Louise Howard Wint. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Fairley Stricklin, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stricklin retired from working in healthcare at Harbert Hills Nursing Home. She was a member of Savannah Seventh-day Adventist Church.She worked with the community service with the church and had been president of Women’s Ministry. She was also a former member of Whites F.C.E. Club.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Faye Stricklin Wilkerson and her husband Lonnie, Kendall Fairly Stricklin and his wife Jessica and Zachary Howard Stricklin, all of Savannah; one brother, Bob Wint of Savannah; four sisters, Katie Crease of Cottage Grove, Oregon, Myrtle Brunner of Mineral Bluff, Georgia, Marretta Glenn of Georgia and Denise Oliver of Fletcher, North Carolina.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Services were held on Sunday, July 24, at 3 p.m., at Seventh-day Adventist Church in Savannah with John Johnston officiating. Burial followed in Wilkerson Cemetery at Hardin County.
