Otis Hunt (12-12-11) service 12-15-11

Otis Hunt was born in Hardin County, on March 4, 1943, the son of the late Edd and Stella Mae Deshazier Hunt.

Mr. Hunt had stacked lumber at the sawmill and had attended Sand Hill Holiness Church.

He departed this life on Monday, Dec. 12, at the age of 68 years, 9 months, 8 days.

Mr. Hunt is survived by his wife Betty Sue Hunt of Savannah; daughters, Betty Annette Duncan and Elizabeth Cornelius, both of Savannah; son, James Lee Henry Fause of Savannah; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; brother, Jay Hunt of Savannah; sisters, Betty Moser, Carolyn Hill, Loucile "Polly" Scott, all of Savannah and Ann Goodman of Morton, Ill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Hunt; sisters, Estella Franks, Elizabeth "Libby" Brashier and Ethel Mae Hunt.

Services were held Thursday, Dec. 15, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. Burial followed in the Campground Cemetery at Hardin County.
