Paul David "P.D." Plunk

Paul David Plunk, 79, of Crump, died on Thursday, Dec. 20.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Roscoe and Dexter Doreen Blankenship Plunk.

Paul David or P.D. as he was known by those close to him, was a quality control supervisor with Halliburton Brownroot. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Services were held on Monday, Dec. 24, at Christian Assembly Pentecostal Church in Crump with W.D. McCollum officiating. Burial followed in the Crump Cemetery.

He is survived by his children, Paula Dunn of Florida, D’Lesa Plunk and T’Resa Plunk Porto, both of Houston, Texas, Paul David Plunk II of Crump; three grandchildren; sisters, Mary Smith of Horn Lake, Miss., Thelda Church and Ella Bailey, both of Southaven, Miss.; brothers, Samuel Plunk of Savannah, Harold Plunk of Parsons, Tenn., Raymond Plunk of Southaven, Miss., and Eddie Plunk of Horn Lake, Miss.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Omega Ruth Plunk; and brother, James T. Plunk.
