Paul Johnson (2-20-10) services 2-23-10

Paul Johnson, 93, of Weaverville, N.C., died Saturday, Feb. 20.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late William Jessie and Otha Counce Johnson. He was united in marriage to Lois Walker, who survives.

Mr. Johnson retired from Walker Supply Company where he was a purchaser. He was an active member of the Barnhill United Methodist Church and the Savannah Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge 102.

Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Becky Wilkes officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Lois Johnson, he is survived by three sons, Donald of Knoxville, Kenneth of Chattanooga, Paul of Banardsville, N.C.; a sister, Lucille Austin of Michigan; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Johnson; a sister, Mildred Adams; five brothers, Jamey, Dan, Leeth, Charles and Sam.
