Paul Scott

Paul Larry Scott, 57, of Saltillo, died Friday, Feb. 25.

He was born in Hardin County, the son of Betty Jane Ratliff Scott and the late Paul Ray Scott. He was united in marriage to Loretta Lynne Sagely, who survives.

Mr. Scott was a supervisor for Volunteer Bridge. He had previously worked for Bridge Builders, Inc., Hubbs Contractors, Inc., and Britton Bridge, Inc. He served in the Tennessee National Guard in the early 1970s.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Frank Williams and Jackie Ratliff officiating.

In addition to his wife, Loretta, he is survived by two stepsons, Johnathan Wood of Saltillo and Jimmy Hammock of Lawton, Tenn.; his mother, Betty Scott; a sister, Connie Terry of McMinnville, Tenn.; a brother, Scotty Scott of Savannah; and a step-grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Rhonda Wallin.
