Randal Brown

Randal Edward Brown was born in Hardin County, on Nov. 1, 1927, the son of the late Thomas and Rhoda Franks Brown.

On March 9, 1957, he was united in marriage to Evon Mitchell, who survives.

Mr. Brown was a self-employed farmer. He enjoyed gardening and doing carpentry. Mr. Brown attended Old Town Full Gospel Church in Savannah.

Mr. Brown departed this life on Wednesday, Dec. 28, in Savannah, at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 27 day.

In addition to his wife, Evon of Savannah, he is survived by one daughter, Cathy Robinson of Savannah; three grandchildren, Amy Robinson, Nathan Robinson and Sarah Robinson; one brother, L.V. Brown of Savannah; two sisters, Ruie Harville of Olive Hill and Ruthie Michael of Mishawaka, Ind.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Brown; two sisters, Molly Stricklin and Ruby Stricklin; and four brothers, James, Hardin, Audie and Floyd Brown.

Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah with Danny Bailey, Mike Howard officiating. Burial followed in the Memory Gardens at Savannah.
