Randall Matlock

Randall Matlock, 62, of Counce, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 1, in Waynesboro, Tennessee. He was born on Jan. 16, 1962, in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of Opal B. Wright Matlock and the late James Merle Matlock.
On Oct. 4, 2005, he was united in marriage to Sherry Edwards Matlock, who preceded her husband in death on March 2, 2015.
Randall attended the Stantonville Church of Christ in Stantonville, Tennessee. In his spare time, he enjoyed going fishing, camping, playing cards and playing horse shoes with his friends.
He is survived by his mother, Opal B. Matlock; stepdaughter, Kaci Lambert; brother, Dusty Matlock (Emily); nieces, Christa Wilson and Anna Matlock; nephew, James Matlock; and great-nephews, Caleb and Corbin Reed.
In addition to his father, Randall was preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Carol Wilson.
Memorial Services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024 at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah.
