Chief Hospital Corpsman (HMC) Robert David Shelby, 78, United States Navy Ret., died at his home in Bartlett, Tennessee, on Thursday, Dec. 15. He was formerly of Savannah.
He leaves his wife Dianne of 56 years; two daughters, Lisa Oliver and Judy Littman; one granddaughter, four grandsons; and two great-grandsons. He also leaves one sister, Muriel Smith of Savannah; one brother, Charles Shelby and wife Winnie of Milan, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 1:15 p.m., with the Marine Corps League doing the honors and service by the Navy Chaplain at 4000 Forest Hill Irene in Memphis.
